PLATULAR® ALL-WELDED PLATE HEAT EXCHANGERS

UK Exchangers are the sole UK Representative for Platular® All-Welded Plate Heat Exchangers, from France's Barriquand Technologies Thermiques.

All-welded heat exchangers are particularly suitable for high pressure or high temperature applications, or when fluids are too aggressive for standard Plate Heat Exchanger gaskets.

Thanks to their compactness, efficiency and easy operation, PLATULAR® welded plate exchangers are highly regarded by major international players in many fields including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, agricultural chemicals etc.

PLATULAR® exchanger types:

Type X - wide gap welded plate exchangers with no frame plate and hinged access covers. Especially designed for dirty fluids, these units can really generate important savings on cleaning and maintenance activities.

Thanks to their thermal performance, they have very many applications.

Type IJS - a Plate and Shell design. These units are part of the first generation of PLATULAR® with the first units having been introduced in the sixties.

They comprise a bundle of welded plates in a cylindrical shell:

• Robust, compact, construction suited to thermal cycles.
• Made of stainless steel or noble materials.
  
  

Type PSM - A fully standardised exchanger range, with a very efficient heat transfer area.

Applications:

• Liquid-liquid heat transfer.
• Vapour-liquid.
